KIRLOSKAR · CPCB IV+ RANGE

125 kVA diesel generator

100 kW prime power. A clear specification for your next backup-power decision.

For a 125 kVA requirement, separate essential services from equipment that can wait during a power cut. This helps the sizing discussion stay practical and avoids choosing a larger set only to run it with very little load for most of the year.

MODEL DETAILS

125 kVA DG set specifications

These values come from the technical table in the supplied Kirloskar brochure. They help you compare models and prepare an enquiry; use the current approved drawing and offer for purchase and installation.

The 100 and 125 kVA models share listed dimensions, but their output and handling weights differ. Confirm the exact model in the drawing.

FACILITIES WITH A LARGER ESSENTIAL LOAD

Choose the load first. Then choose the generator.

Running power and starting demand

A connected load list is the starting point, but it is not the complete sizing calculation. Record which equipment runs together, which motor starts first and whether compressors or pumps restart automatically. Ask the electrical team to check the largest load step against the proposed 125 kVA set.

Prime rating and future additions

The brochure presents prime ratings as the standard offering. Discuss the expected operating hours and load pattern rather than substituting an emergency standby number. Include realistic future additions; excessive spare capacity can leave a set lightly loaded for much of its operating life.

UPS, drives and sensitive equipment

For a site with online UPS systems, variable-speed drives or sensitive controls, review input characteristics, harmonics and voltage recovery with the equipment suppliers. A diesel generator starts and transfers after a supply failure; it does not provide uninterrupted power by itself.

INSIDE THE SYSTEM

What to discuss beyond the kVA rating

The brochure describes common-rail fuel injection, controller diagnostics and remote monitoring. Ask which functions, communications hardware and account access are included in the proposed configuration.

This range includes a DEF system in the specification table. Build replenishment, correct fluid handling and after-treatment servicing into the maintenance discussion.

For operation, your team needs a clear handover: start and stop procedures, alarm response, routine checks and the service contact. Confirm the maintenance schedule in the supplied operating manual.

SITE PLANNING

Plan the installation before delivery

01

Access and foundation

Share the approach road, unloading position and proposed equipment location. The listed dry weight is approximately 2,200 kg; final lifting and foundation decisions need the approved drawing, actual supply weight and the site engineer’s review.

02

Airflow and exhaust

The canopy size of 3200 × 1350 × 1800 mm does not include all working clearances or exhaust routing. Check ventilation, hot-air discharge, rain protection and access for servicing. Avoid selecting a location on enclosure dimensions alone.

03

Electrical integration

Confirm the changeover or AMF arrangement, cable route, earthing and protection coordination. List critical loads separately. The consultant and installer should review the final electrical arrangement and applicable site requirements before commissioning.

125 kVA GENERATOR PRICE & ENQUIRY

Get a quotation that covers the actual job.

A base equipment price does not tell you the installed project cost. Ask for a written scope that separates the genset, controls, delivery, unloading, installation, exhaust, cabling, commissioning and taxes.

Send Fujitronix your site city, load schedule, largest motor, expected running hours, installation location and required delivery date. For Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Ghaziabad, Delhi NCR, Bengaluru or another city, confirm delivery and local support in the quotation.

PRACTICAL ANSWERS

125 kVA diesel generator FAQs

What is the output of this 125 kVA diesel generator?

The supplied Kirloskar sheet lists KG4-125WS1 at 125 kVA and 100 kW prime output, at 50 Hz and 0.8 power factor. The final site selection must also account for starting current, load steps and operating conditions.

What is the price of a 125 kVA CPCB IV+ DG set?

Please request a current quotation for KG4-125WS1. The supplied document does not publish a price. The final amount depends on the control panel, delivery location, installation scope, cabling, exhaust work, taxes and any optional equipment. Share the site city and load details for a comparable offer.

Can it support my building or factory?

It needs a load study first. This model is rated at 100 kW at the stated power factor, but a motor or compressor can draw much more current while starting than while running. Share the equipment list, measured demand and starting sequence. The application examples on this page are enquiry contexts, not blanket compatibility approvals.

How much space does the genset need?

The datasheet lists an enclosure of 3200 × 1350 × 1800 mm, with tolerances. This is not the full installation space. Allow for ventilation, door opening, service access, exhaust and safe fuel handling according to the approved installation drawing.

How long will it run on one tank?

The listed tank capacity is 230 litres. Runtime cannot be calculated from tank size alone. Ask for a fuel-consumption curve at the expected load and confirm usable fuel volume, operating conditions and the refuelling plan. No fuel-consumption figure is supplied in the specification table used here.

Does this model require DEF?

The supplied table lists a DEF tank capacity of 25 litres. The brochure specifies AdBlue meeting ISO 22241. Confirm fluid quality, replenishment and storage instructions with the equipment documentation.

Is the AMF panel or synchronisation included?

Do not assume inclusion. The brochure describes controller and AMF capabilities, but the panel, changeover equipment, protections and wiring must be identified in the offer. Synchronisation, where required, needs a separately confirmed system design and quotation.

Who manufactures the generator, and whom should I contact?

This is a Kirloskar product described in the client-supplied manufacturer datasheet. Contact Fujitronix for the enquiry and quotation discussion. Confirm the supply arrangement, warranty provider, commissioning responsibility and local service coverage in writing before ordering.
